Eco-Friendly Rocket

Yeah — that’s right, I said ROCKET!  Rockets would be christmas present ideas for kids and you can give them while still respecting the environment.  This Skytrax Rocket is made of materials such as balsa wood and a paper tube that are easily biodegradeable.  This means that there won’t be tons of room wasted in land fills once this rocket is kaput.  The parachute for the rocket is also recyclable and reusable.  This means that the rocket can be used over and over again.  Exactly the kind of eco-friendly toy that I like — one that doesn’t need to go into the garbage after being played with once!  I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for more eco-friendly gift ideas for Christmas and posting them here.  Let me know if you find anything that you’d like me to write about.  It can be extremely hard to be green at Christmas when the media and people around us are all pushing towards consumption and waste.
